Both developers of AI systems and organizations using AI systems must ensure that their employees are "AI literate" as of Feb. 2, 2025. This means that anyone using AI systems within or on behalf of an organization must have sufficient knowledge, skills and understanding to use artificial intelligence responsibly. Technically, practically, socially and ethically. This is stated in Article 4 of the AI Act.
